There is something in the world of communication called context.
At this very moment in time, the mid-day show on WJFK radio is playing a three second clip out of a 20 minute segment from the ESPH show First Take. The First Take segment dealt with an interview Stephen A. Smith had with Robert Griffin II, the father of Robert Griffin III, the quarterback of the Washington "Redskins."
The hosts of the show, Holden Kushner and Danny Rouhier, two men who are abject gossip mongers and confusion baiters -- who are both as stupid in their sports knowledge as a dog off the street -- spend four hours a day, five days a week, creating sports information confusion by nit picking every sports though they can glean... and then dissecting those thoughts word by word, rearranging the words and their context, or lack thereof, and then creating something entirely different than was originally put forth.
And then, because both of them believe they are comedic geniuses, they spew complete nonsense for four hours a day, five days a week -- confusing and stirring up the pitchfork wielding, angry, quick tempered fans of "Redskins Nation" and a portion of their regular fans.
Today, without even hearing the the Stephen A. Smith segment from the first half hour of First Take, which comes on 10:00 AM eastern time -- the same time Kushner and Rouhier come on air -- these men, within the hour, had already taken clips from that interview and were KILLING Stephen A. Smith... calling him a liar and stupid and unqualified as a journalist, when in fact... Stephen A. Smith is, in fact, a bonified journalist cutting his teeth in the harsh landscape of the Philadelphia sports market for a decade.
Kushner and Rouhier cannot hold the pen Smith writes with because both of these men are SHOCK JOCKS who are as stupid as bricks... and have not one journalistic bone in their bodies. Why are they attacking others in the media who are doing what they THINK they are doing?
Jealousy, anyone?
WJFK should be ashamed of its loss of integrity on a daily basis. The "TALENT?" on this former great comedy radio station has dragged WJFK straight down to caricature hell!
WJFK is a joke! And if CBS does not get a handle on its zoo, the animals might bite someone with enough power to bite back.
WJFK already has white trash (their words, not mine), proud-of-themselves-Racists spouting their derision on its airwaves on the morning show!
WJFK has a midday shown that is a complete joke... a slimy, soapy bathhouse of the absurd.
WJFK has THE most racist man in DC area broadcasting hosting the evening show -- right along side one of the most polarizing Washington "Redskins" in the history of the team. And when they get to rifting... racism, especially against Native Americans, takes hatred to a whole new level!
I called into WJFK at about 10:40 this morning when Holden Kushner made a statement about Stephen A Smith that was an outright lie! I could not take the twisting of the truth anymore. And as I expected, the smart-ass young man answering the telephone decided to defend Kushner's stance and attack the form in which the Stephen A. Smith interview was conducted.
WJFK defends the derision of its hosts. If you call in to complain, be ready to be attacked by the telephone screeners. OK, that is the way it is. The point to all this is... WJFK, you spew your nonsense straight out there into the airwaves around the country. You might tell me that you defend your hosts, or that your hosts did not say what I just heard them say -- straight out of the 5 speakers of my surround system, but the caveat that destroys your lies is this -- anyone with a recording devise can gather their intel on you EVERYDAY... because you spew your nonsense straight to us, right out of your lying mouths, everyday!
But, you are at your worst when you take ideas out of context... and bend and twist them into the context of your own lies. Now, that is just plain evil!
What gets me to my soul... what hurts me to my heart, as a black man in my 50's, is the small amount of black people who HAVE to have their moments on air at WJFK on a weekly basis. They seem to be mostly immune to the racism on WJFK. I just don't get it. Morning, noon and night... I hear the mocking every time is listen. This is classic -- use ethnic callers for your gain, mock them when the racism rears its nasty head!
